Ran the Golf cart for the first time today! What a rush after a year of planning, overthinking and fabricating!
I have one cell (11) that "appears" to drain faster than the others in the BMS. When I check voltage with the multimeter, it doesn't match what the BMS is showing - it's much closer...
Had the same question and here's the answer! Now I won't get yelled at for not searching before asking. Charged 16P x 150Ah cells to 3.6 and they've dropped to 3.53 12 hours later
Thanks WingNut - I wondered about the Multimeter, so I bought a 2nd. One is a mid-level Fluke the other a Kleine and they both have the same voltage difference over the BMS. The difference isn't really that great so I might just leave it be unless it worsens over time
I'm having the same issue with a JBD BMS I picked up. Multimeter reads 3.36, BMS reads 3.371. Where do I get the JBDTools and how do I connect to my BMS to calibrate?
Have a 48V 16S1P setup with a JK BMS and have a couple questions-
Everything is connected correctly and the BMS turns on and shows voltage. The voltages in the app are different than the voltages on my multimeter - will this improve with time (charge/discharge cycles) or is there some...
I have a Precedent I'm building and just put some prismatic cells in. I built a wooden box for it and haven't done a Navitas upgrade...yet. I'll post pics when I'm done with the build.
Another question....while I wait for my BMS, I've disconnected the cells and 15/16 stays around the same voltage (3.45) and one is down to 3.4 - should this be of concern?
Have an extra JBD BMS 200A with relay version (up to 600A peak) I'm not going to be using. Connected it to my battery once to verify it was working and it's sat on a shelf ever since.
Asking $120 shipped (tracking and insurance) to CONUS
Can provide more pictures on request.
Yes it's still available. Was going to use it for a Golf Cart application but went a different route. Andy from Off Grid garage used the QUCC branded version of this BMS on his first battery build. You can see here:
Selling a never used QUCC (JBD) BMS for $120 shipped to CONUS with Paypal f&f or Venmo friends. $130 if you want to do Paypal or Venmo G&S. Have sold on the forum before and can provide references.
