In the past few days, I have felt as though I was missing a part of myself without being able to see my beautiful graphs. You, sir, with your sagelike wisdom, and what I envision as long-flowing beautiful hair, have once again allowed me access to my glorious graphs. I sincerely cannot thank you...
You reset it by turning off both pv and grid input. The cause was user wiring error. My concern is some idiot doing idiot things when I'm not there and losing power until I'm able to reset it manually.
Ok i finally have one complaint. During some wiring there have been a few shorts. Inverter reads error 17 and needs to be manually reset. After digging through the manual there doesn't seems to be a setting for this, or a way that it will reset itself. Its being run to a critical loads panel...
Not worried. If it felt like switching over that's fine with me. Just curious is all.
In other news my fully solar powered space is now occupied and it is shocking how much power is needed with all utilities being electric. No idea how the fully off grid people are able to do it
I have some very bad news to report. It seems all my Raspberry Pi USB ports no longer function. I have moved SA to another Raspberry Pi and it is unable to recognize the inverter. I have tried various cables and any other form of troubleshooting any of you would suggest to me. It seems my only...
This is what the log is showing. I don't speak computer, but I think red is bad. If anyone knows if something in this image is the problem, please let me know how to address it.
I have one used and one brand new victron 150/35 smart solar. One is slightly undersized for my purposes, and wiring in the second would be more work than simple getting a larger model. I would either like to sell one or both, and either upgrade or trade to a larger model. Send me a message if...
wow pretty quiet. thanks for this. I do have one additional question. You posted a picture of your main and sub panel but it difficult to follow each line. How are the grounds and neutrals bonded, if at all. Could you explain how you did it or have any idea of the internal bond? I think you are...
this is the issue. lots of variables here. but as i said, someone mentioned earlier that it may switch when in battery only mode. 11v between N and G means something is going on somewhere
my inverter has arrived in a port on the other side of the country. Might even have it in a few days. Unfortunately i can currently output only 150 amps with my battery setup. If the battery cuts off via bms, will the unit throw an error code and shut down, or will it switch to grid immediately...
have I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in? of course not. who would dream of such fastidious troubleshooting?
I have determined that my USB-B port has failed. I believe there must have been some voltage discrepancy that also damaged my Raspberry Pi. I have removed the communication...
My project seems to be going faster than i expected and i'll be wiring some stuff tomorrow. I forgot if i asked this before, but do you have any gfci outlets in your home?
Hello i have approximately 100 scooter batteries. They are all 60v with varying capacity. there are three models with 26ah, 29ah, and 35ah. They have a proprietary bms and a proprietary plug, but use a regular xt60 connector underneath. 17s10p 18650 configuration. I have chargers available if...
I know you guys were complaining about your battery percentages being off. Check out how far off mine are. I have a feeling the consumption of the unit itself is not factored in. This drift seemed to occur over time for me
it's just such a terrible app. especially when compared to solar assistant. nowhere near live, barely works. extremely inaccurate. we all need to be honest and admit the only reason we do this is for the graphs
Should be as simple as checking for continuity between ground and neutral on ac out. Someone earlier mentioned it may switch when in battery only mode. You can also check for voltage between ground and neutral. It's not a big deal, I can figure it out once it's in front of me but I'd appreciate...
Hey i also ordered one based on your comments here. Really seems to suit my needs perfectly. Do you have any noise data? like even a phone measurement in db would be helpful. The manual also mentions using ferrules, and it's hard to tell but I dont think you are. Any issues there? Last question...
I think you covered the n/g option. have you ever investigated your current on ground issue? Thanks for posting the settings. seems pretty straightforward. Just curious, what are your battery and pv kw?
