Easy. Generac on the control module backside 2 plug in connectors. you need plug 2 wires pins into wire harness. (empty holes). Those 2 wires run to your inverter. There is like 5 different control module models for Generac. Each one has a pin number where 2 wire start plugs in.
You don't use...
Works great. Of course Solar < wind but the huge advantage of having a turbine is on a stormy day. The turbine will max out making the bulk of your power while solar system your lucky to get anything out of it.
Otherwise this turbine is producing a average of 200-400w per hour which isn't much...
You forgot insulation bushings on your conduit fittings. Since your using tthhn wire.
That grounding bar should have been on the back side hopefully you did not use a self tapper screw. A lot of inspectors would flag it. Which is the same rule on solar mounting rails. Has to be fine thread...
I wouldn't buy one. Busbars are way to small to fit correct wire size. You need a 4awg for 80input. You cant break off strands to make it fit as its against code and unsafe as loose strands can arc over time and cause heat issues. Inverter Breakers are unlabel so you must use 60c wire amperage...
Turbine is not a Sunway. Its a 2kw 48v Ista Breeze turbine . Controller is custom ordered by sunway for lithuim settings. Turbine will max out during a storm.
Finish up a system last week with a sol ark 12K with Tess electric stackable batteries.
Each stackable battery is 10 kw. This setup is 30 kilowatts of storage energy. The batteries communicate perfect with the sol ark using a standard Ethernet cable.
Finishing up for a client. It's turning out pretty good. Has a 12 KW Growwatt inverter. A bypass switch in case the inverter ever failed for a generator. 10 kilowatt solar array. Nice sized lithium phosphate battery bank that is stackable. 54kw of storage!
I'm just posting it's a red flag for a inspector. They would just make you pull it. If they physically saw that. Some of these inspectors don't even actually inspect people's work lately. They might only look at the main hook up at the panel or just sign some papers But if the inspector was...
Right. Unless this job was pulled with no permits and someone cutting corners. Major corners But spending that kind money on 9 solarks why would you cut corners ? Plumbing pipes for conduit :(
PVC would require a bushing as well. YouTube doesn't make someone a professional. College for the application does but even then you get people that cut corners.
On sol ark setting make sure you have correct amp hour settings for your bank size. If you edit the size it will effect the battery capacity % on your main screen
Turbine been working great so far with zero issues. By the way its stamp made in turkey on the side. Yet the reviewer claims made in China? And the buyer claims that the seller stated made in the usa? Yet the website shows made in turkey. Website Shows no where made in the USA... Lol sounds...
You need buy 2 pins connectors. They plug into the wire harness connector plug on the backside of your current module controller. So no need to buy a module.... Generac has 5 different model of module controllers. Depending on your model is where the pin plugs in. As they are few empty spots on...
That's terrible in northern Minnesota you get paid about 13 cents a kilowatt. No additional fees being connected for solar. Just have your standard connection fee but that doesn't matter being solar or not.
First off this client already had one 12K inverter. Hence the older model on the very right side. So it's pointless to go 15K. This client is 100% off grid.
He Powers up his house, a workshop , and another small house all off this one system.
Well price would play a big factor. As it's cheaper to buy 48v 100ah packs. Which weights little over 100 lb . I would hate to lift a 300 lb battery if they made 48v at 280ah packs.
The smart BMS actually balances batteries pretty good. it will communicate with each other pack. Now each...
