Couldn't agree more!! As soon as the AC200 was announced (a little after my previous post), it made everything else look like garbage. I've been eagerly waiting for the Indiegogo launch, and just pre-ordered one.
If anyone else is following this thread and hasn't heard of the Bluetti AC200...
Sure, here’s the link. they removed the 120W option and now only have the 100W.

And yes, it was in direct sunlight, perpendicular to the mid day sun, with all panels unblocked and recently wiped clean. So in theory it should have been producing close...
Hey everyone,
Quick question for you. I’m dipping my toes into solar with a 120 Watt foldable solar panel from Suaoki, and charging a Bluetti 240 with it.
But the output is just terrible... only getting 60-70 watts in direct sunlight in Southern California. I’ve tried different cables with...
Goal Zero has a new line of products coming out and one that looks absolutely perfect for what I'm going for:

Here's a follow up on my EcoFlow Delta 1300 for any that are interested.
LIKES:
Super fast recharge from grid (only 1 hour)
1800W inverter handles almost all the kitchen appliances I could throw at it
Coffee machine, blender, toaster oven, 1200W microwave, etc. The Bluetti wouldn't be able...
Update on the original post topic...
The Ecoflow Delta 1300Wh is on sale right now for $1200 ($0.92 per Wh) and it has 1800W continuous output with 3300W surge. I know the longevity of the battery sucks, but all things considered, this seems like a pretty good Power Station option for a few...
Well damn... but this is good to know before I spend my hard earned money, so I appreciate the feedback @Supervstech and @Craig
I’ll rearrange my DIY build plan so it can handle a heavier continuous load: 2500W min but 3000W to 5000W ideal. Thanks again.
Good tips and my build was pretty similar to what you’re suggesting. I was leaning towards getting a MPP LV 2424 hybrid which has 2400W continuous output. With a step down to 120V, and probably some cheap lead acid batteries to store it. In the long run I’d like to use Lithium but prices are...
I hear you, I think their main gripe is that gas generators actually generate electricity but don’t store any electricity, while power stations don’t generate any electricity but they do store it. So if a newbie were to buy a GZ “solar generator” and expect it to generate energy on it’s own...
I haven’t done hands on testing yet but most info I found said 1500W continuous with surge up to 3000W should cover the majority of power tools. Most of them are 1500W or less with a few 1800W quick usage (e.g one cut from a table saw) that should be covered by the surge. So I figured that as...
No worries, the whole “solar generator” marketing term is confusing anyways because they don’t actually generate anything. Manufacturers just used that term in the early days because customers were familiar with gas powered generators. But now it looks like they’re starting to rebrand them as...
I like MPP solar too, and plan to get the LV2424 for my full DIY system. But for this plug & play situation I was referring to all-in-ones that include batteries like Goal Zero Yeti or Bluetti 1400.
Good tip @Bob142, we’re on the same wavelength because I actually just signed up for GZ open box notifications. I’ll check out that eBay page too, the GZ 1400 is the one I have my eye on if the price were more reasonable. Thanks.
