    letting go of solar set-up

My batteries finally died, i am not willing to replace them, since my setup wont run noting major like a fridge or ac. It only provides a backup for the living room and tv and internet. What would be a fair price to sell (4) 100watt panels and a Ep Ever 4325bn charge controller and a 24V...

Trying to destory my SCC's: I can't do it!

yes you can destroy a EPEVER i had a 4210an that i damaged. The 24V to 12V converter hooked up on the load output failed and shorted out and dead shorted under full power and damaged the load control so it made a beeping noise when the PV was active as the same time the load was turned on...

    new charge controller

im heavly looking at the Victron 100/30, it will be seeing the max amp with 2 strings of 4 100 watt panel or would it be best to get the 100/50, with about 1200 watts. Three strings of 4 100 watt panels. Each sting is in series

    Solar/ battery

a 5000 BTU A/C will use about 450 watts constant and about 800 watts on start-up, 800 watts of solar panels will average about 600 watts or more a hour and that is enough to run the AC and still give the batteries enough to charge.

    Solar/ battery

i am in the process of gradually working to the point of running a 5,000 BTU AC during the day. It will take about 800 Watts of panels on a MPPT charger and about 200 amp hours of batteries. I am on a 24v system so if you are on a 12v system you would need more batteries, The inverter should be...
