I decided to get a 60watt heated bucket and I guess I’ll need the power inverter I want to make as safe as possible I don’t want burn my hens, I got the 100 watt panel and charge controller now I have to figure out what type of power inverter and cables

Yes it sounds crazy but there is days it get that cold, the place I live is one of the sunniest in Canada , so in a very cold day full of snow and about -20c we can see 8 hours of sun no clouds. Lots of people have chickens over here.

I read that watt meters are not very accurate and that everything has to be disconnected from the battery to get accurate reading.
Any watt meter that I can buy that can measure without disconnecting from battery?
I have a mppt charge controller that I think I got the wrong one rated up to 40-60 amp ( looks like a cheap Chinese one, got it from amazon) but the holes to connect the wires from battery are small, I got a 4gauge stranded copper wire that I was going to use from battery to charge controller ...
The inverter it’s outside too behind the coop in a insulated box, cover with a tiny window on bottom for ventilation
The cable from battery - charge controller it’s 6 gauge, about 3 feet long, the cable from battery - inverter ( I’m using the cable that was with the inverter ) it’s 10 gauge...
