This is a picture of my EPever mppt 40 amp charge controler.
I'm using a Phillips head screwdriver but doesn'tseem to be tight enough on wire termination.
Hay, wanting to do the same thing. I'm so surprised this isn't discussed more!
My plan, coming off tongue of trailer from battery.
Converter wire, negative ground wire and a positive wire for dc lights and trailer slide.
Plan: move positive converter wire to busbar, negative wire to negative...
Hi all, I'm on the last step of my solar system build of my 2008 travel trailer. Original wiring came off battery to 30 amp fuses.
One was from the converter charger the other two I don't know I presume one was a ground.
Looking for guidance on how to wire these back to new battleborn batteries...
Zil, follow up solution. Got rid of the 30 amp breaker going straight to fuse block of of main fuse, may add 100 amp breaker late.
I cut a washer to fit the fuse block terminal with some wire cutters.
Thanks, the terminal attachment to the fuse box is so small I'm curious how I would overcome a larger wire and lug to it. A suggestion of wire gauge would be helpful, thank you.
This is my board arrangement for inverter, charge controller, fuse block and assorted fuses and wiring. Still need ground on fuse block.
All large wiring is 2/0 smaller wires are 6 with 30 amp rating.
Main fuse 200 amp, inverter fuse 50 amp, fuse block 30 amp fuse.
Thanks in advance.
Joseph, Im new at this also. Would like to know your thinking on running your converter through the CC, Why not right to bus bar. I note you posted this a while back, what did you wind up doing.
thanks
Not very helpful by calling my purchases crap should I return it.
Ok, was trying to avoid systemic energy audit, just wanted to do a two battery setup which should be plenty for my needs.
Greatly appreciate,

This is what I came up with
Yes, roughly. I have a 40 amp charge controllers 400 watts of solar and my sticking point is this inverter being able to be matched with a battleborn 100amp 12-volt battery. Currently I don't want buy the Battle Born battery yet until I know that is compatible
