I skimmed through them. They all seem like click-bait and overreacting to Ford and GM pulling back on EVs, when they barely got started. If you read my link above, EV sales grew globally by 31% last year.
I've been looking into this inverter pretty closely. It seems like a pretty good deal to me.
It appears to be the same as this inverter.
Amensolar Inverters
Based on that Amensolar user manual, you can parallel 8 or at least that's the number of parallel addresses it allows

BYD Blade batteries are considered safe from what I’ve seen. Tesla uses them in their German made vehicles BYD nail test
I’m also confused by China EV tariffs. I’m not aware of any Chinese auto company selling EVs in the US currently.
BYD just said they have no plans BYD US statement
There’s around 2 million reservations, but the reservation deposit was only $100. I have a reservation, but I’m waiting on them to work through the foundation series/early adopter orders and lower prices. The refreshed model S/X prices dropped over $40k after they worked through initial orders
Yeah, that’s why I mentioned most inverters and batteries (etc) are coming from China. However, I’m thinking China might try something similar to the above solar panels to circumvent the tariffs.
Looks like it's the NHX inverter watts247 is selling (Amensolar/megarevo inverter) but with a different LCD. The specs and the manual are the same.

The first result of your search refutes your claim. The news I’ve been seeing is that the growth rate is lower, not actual EV sales.

Here’s a video linked to where they talk about the SS. Not my area of expertise, but it sounds like custom SS to maximize corrosion resistance and toughness.
Jay Leno’s Garage CyberTruck
I recommend everyone watch the whole video. Jay Leno’s garage in general is good too.
Meh, most states give tax breaks to get companies to invest in local manufacturing/jobs. Not unusual for any company creating local jobs to get local and state tax breaks and not on par with China subsidizing their companies to keep their prices artificially low. US consumers benefit from cheap...
Yeah, that diagram doesn’t make much sense to me either. I would think the CTs would be by the main breaker if concerned about sending power back to the grid/zero export.
does anyone have a more up-to-date chart of US solar imports? It looks like most solar is coming from Malaysia and Vietnam. Might just be China circumventing existing tariffs though. I’m sure most inverters and batteries are coming from China. US solar panel imports
Per the video Ian posted, it sounded like each mppt could do 500 VOC and 22 amp ISC independently. With that in mind, you should be able to over-panel this inverter with up to around 40kW of solar.
I remember watching Jack Rickard (rip) with EVTV on YouTube using Tesla batteries for solar backup and trying to go hvdc. He was looking at some huge inverters from China. This seems like a much better solution on the inverter. Awesome setup.
I rarely supercharge. It’s more convenient to charge at home 99+% of the time for me using my own solar. Much cheaper too. Supercharging has gotten a lot better around florida. It’s typically 10-15 minutes, and Tesla has added superchargers at the nice convenience stores around here like...
