That gleaming review of NewPowa panels has just about convinced me to make the purchase....they fit the space I have but had not seen any "real world" reviews...thank you for the information...I'm ready to purchase panels now.

Thank you for the great advice. I will try to purchase the 250 watt or the 220 watt panels and go from there. I would like to be as self-sufficient as possible without shore power. I have the ability to connect to shore power now but free charging is the goal.

I am an absolute beginner at solar and all it encompasses which is more than I have anticipated it was going to be. I'm not afraid of a challenge or the work that comes it. Just looking for good sound advice from someone who has been there and learned and has real life experience to share.

Correct a multi meter..so the question is the voltage and amperage within acceptable for me to continue on with the project of battery, charge controller and inverter ?
