How much wall space does a Victron system require?

I received a reply from the Victron dealer and will include it here in case others have the same question and see this thread. He said: "For your batteries and inverters you’re looking at needing about 4x7 feet." I assume that space will accomodate the other equipment required since that is...

@ricardocello @Adam De Lay Thank you for your replies. Gonna look at the manual now.

How much wall space does a Victron system require?

    Says MultiPlus-II 48/3000/35-50 120V. Two units for a 6kW system.

How much wall space does a Victron system require?

Trying to estimate wall space required for a Victron system. Will have two MultiPlus-II inverters and a Lifepo Battery. I have the dimensions on a battery but don't know how much overall wall/floor space all of the equipment would take up. Planning to put it in a 10' x 15' pantry.

Deciding between Victron, Enphase and possibly Sol-ark. Input?

Yeah I am not on this forum a lot, I never heard of Current Connected before. I will look into it.

What do they bring to the table that the MS dealer can't? I like the guy in MS, he is very responsive and since I have done sales myself I hate to give the sale to a new entity when the guy in MS is the one that has taken his time to work with me thus far.

Yeah the dealer in MS is very nice and very knowledgeable. He will put the system together and I will get his input on how to make it easier for the electrician. I already sent the electrician a youtube video made by @Will Prowse when he said he was trying to research Victron installations.

I don't understand what you mean by this.

Deciding between Victron, Enphase and possibly Sol-ark. Input?

He is an electrician not a salesman. : ) I don't think he is lying though I do think he is doing his best to come up to speed on solar. He works for a company that has 2 offices and lots of other guys but he is the only one that does solar installations. Plus he had never heard of Victron...

Deciding between Victron, Enphase and possibly Sol-ark. Input?

I believe both inverters are 120v only (I do not need 240). As far as interviewing the electrician, there aren't very many options in that small town. Only found 1 other installer in that region and he mainly does Sol-Ark not Victron.

Well the Victon system does have 2 MultiPlus-II inverters so I guess that is some redundancy if the system can function (and not be overloaded/ruined) if one goes down. Plan for maintenance is to have a local electrician do the install so they are also around to do repairs (unlike most solar...

Local electrical help needed in brookings OR

@Ariel188 Not sure if you will read this but I am very much like you (single female, multiple dogs, limited mechanical/electrical skills). I would strongly advise that you to plan for redundancy. That means when (not if) you lose power again you have a backup heat source such as a kerosene...

Deciding between Victron, Enphase and possibly Sol-ark. Input?

I believe the new off-grid Enphase system does not require an Internet connection. I did ask the electrician that sells those systems about that and he swore they don't. Also said there is no single point of failure. As far as Sol-Ark claiming to be EMP hardened, it is a $1500 upgrade and I...

Yeah that is what I am thinking. Plus it won't cost that much to upgrade to a 10 year warranty.
