These equalizers say they are for 4 batteries in series, but would it work for 4x 12v 100ah batteries in 2s2p or 2p2s?
Or hypothetically would it work with 4 batteries in parallel? Or for some reason for it to work, do all the batteries have to be in one series string?
Awesome! Thanks for the info!
I will check out my inverter and see if I need to swap the red and black cables.
By disconnecting those ground wires on your white inverter, you have disconnected the neutral ground connection at the inverter, so that you can bond them at the breaker box, correct...
The sun is down now, so no power going in, and now all 4 batteries show 13.2v.
Was there nothing wrong to begin with, and only showing higher voltage on the outside two batteries because they are the ones connected to the scc?
I disconnected everything and using a thinner gauge wire, I got them all to 13.48, and connected them all in parallel and let sit for 30 minutes. They all where at 13.48v, so I disconnected everything again, and wired them in 2s2p. Outside left is + and outside right is -. Hooked it back up to...
I have 4x 12v 100ah batteries in 2s2p for 24v.
Today my inverter set off an alert, so I checked the battery voltages, and putting a volt meter on each battery, the voltage is different. On both of the 2s batteries that make the 24v one is 14.1 and the other is 13.3.
How is that even possible...
I just received a reliable brand 24v 3000 watt inverter, and the fans are constantly turning on and off.
On for 26 seconds, off for 10 seconds and repeats that. My current load is a midea u ac, that is pulling less than 600 watts, and a mini fridge that pulls 100 watts, so ~700 watt load on a...
What other details would you like? When doing the continuity test on the generator 30a plug, I did not know which was hot and which was neutral, so I put the black probe in ground, then put the red probe in both of the other spots, and got continuity on both.
It makes sense that I did not...
With the generator off and disconnected, I tested continuity at the 30a plug, which is what I would be using. With the black wire from multi meter in the ground, I get continuity on both hot and neutral. Does that sound right?
I am wiring up a breaker box for an off grid cabin. No grid power of any sort on the property at all.
Do I bond neutral and ground in the breaker box? The ground will be wired to an 8' copper rod outside. I read some other posts and they said adding a generator complicates things, weather the...
I have been checking on it every couple hours. I have yet to see above 13.66 at the batteries while the panels are in full sun.
Yes, which is going in the right direction at least.
Update, I added two more of the same solar panels, so now it is 2s2p of 230 watt panels.
Currently the display says 13.6 volts and is only taking in 20 watts. Battery voltages where 13.66 on each of the terminals. I am guessing only 20 watts is because it is in float charge?
