JBD has a proprietary bms protocol can't talk to any inverter. You have to setup your growatt battery configuration manually.

always check documentation before acting. don't do like Andy ;-). yep power pin is VBAT need a dc/dc converter if you ant to power your converter from the BMS. serial pins are 5V ttl on the serial port. don't know for the gps port, you have to ask your vendor.

give yourself a favor, use it ;-) anyway the bms is temporary mount on the plate with 4 disposable screws. you have to mount it with 6 dedicated screws

you need a USB to RS485 adapter not a usb to ethernet adapter

Connecting chassis to ground is a requirement, this is not an issue. I'am talking about connecting AC neutral to ground.

There are connected together for resilience and get more power. If one failed or needs maintenance your system stay up.

That's really weird ,-) I asked confirmation to the vendor since Iam working on a jk to pylon converter, I wanted to be sure it works with most 8s and 16s jk bms. Are you using the gps port or rs485 port ? With my test bms Iam using 5v ttl, since my host controller is not 5v tolerant.
