Getting hooked on this Solar, forum is great. I bought the 6000XP, (2) LL-S batteries, 4000 watt string generating about 300 to 360v in December. Purpose was to have emergency power for fridge/freezers and well pump in case of power outage. I currently have all 4 fridge/freezers on a critical...
New to solar, I just received my 6000XP, one EG4 -LL-S 100 amp battery, and already install (10) 400 watt panels on my south facing rooftop. My goal is to have water well (240volt) and fridge & freezer during a power outage. I would like to capitalize on the investment lowering my electric bill...
When running the PV line, which plug is positive to be red, and which plug is negative to be black? Does it matter?
One mc4 plug would described as female, the other would be a male. Premade PV cables (one red and one black) also have both ends on them.
Silly question I realize, but there is...
Are there any options available to avoid using the provided dongle? My system is working, and set up by the LCD screen. I am guessing I have no choice but to register and download their monitoring software/app to receive any future software updates.
I wish I could just plug a laptop into it with...
After purchasing the 6000XP and 4000 watts of panels (10) in a single string with one LL_S battery, I have since bought another two LL_S batteries. I have a 300 to 500 watt load on the system that drops the (3) LL_S batteries to about 50-60% SOC every morning and reaches 100% charge by 11:00...
Learning to interpret data on my 6000XP, 2 LL-S batteries, 10 (400) watt panels.
My inverter will show incoming PV voltage of about 300v this time of year. But the EG4 app will vary in Watts. See below photos. I have had as much as 1200+ watts on the app, with 300v of PV. Today I have 353v of...
Just commissioned and operating mostly on defaults. No wi-if. There are 9 working modes shown on pg40/41 in the 6000XP manual. I do not have a TOU (time of use) rate plan.
I’m not sure where to start on the LCD settings:
Setting 10 -TEOd voltage/SOC to discharge
Setting 11 -CutOFF voltage/soc...
RSD function, setting #28 can be enabled or disabled. It is enabled by default but I don’t know what it is, or how to use it?
Can anyone explain the RSD function?
