You can do a ballast ground mount. Just add ballast to the footings and you should be allright. Ive seen quite a few ballast style solar projects.

Unistrut did save me alot of money. Id rather buy more batterys or panels than have to spend the extra on racking. Id eventually like to add 12 more panels, i got them for 60$ each used for 300 watts. I don't think i can find a better deal than used commercial poly panels. 5 years from now...

Yes, I bought 1 of my units direct from taiwan from MPP solar on ebay. However i would rather pay the extra 50$ for the other MPP Solar USA seller instead, they have better service.

I fixed a my battery box by getting the 2" metal flex on it. Ill be adding a GFDI from @dougbert when that arrives from his old trace system.

@dougbert I got my GFDI installed today and also added a timer on my dump load circuit. I think MPP solar should add gfdi protection to their inverters. Its in all charge controllers nowadays and they still dont have the feature.

I used a lv5048. Its been solid. I wouldnt put its output on an extension cord, you need to send the power to a panel.

I saw a new tesla module BMS that is plug n play that is going to be released this november. It will have a screen and everything from overseas. Hopefully it will fix this issue forever.

Ill be updating this rig with another lv5048 and another battery balancer soon.

The MPP inverters have a breaker i believe on both input and output. Its behind the ac input and output holes on the inverter.

Thats fine but make sure you have a breaker suitable for your wire size. Going straight from the inverter to the mainlugs with no breaker is a bad idea. I dont really trust those inbuilt breakers on the mpp inverters.

A ground plate set in concrete. Rent a jackhammer and have fun.

Wow this is pretty smart. No need to choose one or the other. FLAs are still cheap and have a small LFP pack to keep them nice and topped off.
