THANK YOU ALL !!
Seems like I was trying to make it way more complicated than it needed to be.
Schematic above is exactly what I drew out, except I would just use a pair of Y-connectors instead of that fancy little two-into-one, I would assume I can do that!
A sketch, I wish I could!!
Correct :2 in series for 24v, and 2 sets of panels in parallel
So I connect a Neg to Pos of each set of two panels. Then Y from the Neg's & Y from the Pos of each pair of panels.
I am not going to add anything to an otherwise very good working 1 yr old trailer.
The biggest draw would be 12V water pump for showers, which we have managed quite well in the past for 2-4 days at a time on a single lead/acid battery before even thinking about a charge.
A simple 12V inverter...
I have read & watched videos till my head hurt, & sometimes just when I think I have it figured I question my choices!
Here's my approach so far for 6 month boondocking in S/W states.
Power requirements are pretty minimum, Micro Wave for short bursts, ability to switch fridge to 110V while...
VOC 22.1V ISC 11.34A
???
How about

I can't just copy from info spec but it's there.
I don't know what's factory installed in trailer at the moment, it's under...
Apperntly I didn't provide enough info above!
I have 4 panels, so I connect Pos & Neg on each set of the two panels, then I have a Pos & Neg on each set of the two panels. Are you inferring that I can then connect the two Pos & the two Negs from opposing panels to end up with a single Neg &...
I really don't need any, as the awg is pre-installed in trailer, I just don't know what size it is. I would assume it can handle 800w panels wired 2s2p.
You must be Cdn too?? They are little over an hr away.
I'm open to suggestions on inverter!
Sorry was typing faster can I can think.
No...
Thoughts on this one??
I like the output terminals & the remote display is a little better than most.

Again...
From my earlier post.
Yes they are LiFeP04 batteries, I was using Lipo as a typing shortcut, didn't realize that was a different item altogether.
Sorry if any confusion. I was adding "If I run" to make it a question.
Since I haven't yet purchased an Inverter & after suggestions that 24V...
My fridge is either propane or 110V., no 12V. It runs quite efficiently on propane but occasionally it will blow out when travelling, figured a switch to 110V while travelling would solve that issue.
We have not used much AC(110V) in the past, but we have an Eco-Flow that will run a coffee maker, toaster & run the geny if were going to watch TV.
30gal on-board gas station for SxS, should be some gas left.:)
If inverter failed, I'm sure there's someplace in Az to purchase one, we also have a...
If I run two 12V batteries in series to supply 24V to a 24V inverter, can I run a small 12V rv system (mostly LED lights) tapped off one of the two batteries that is wired in series to get 12Vs??
Thanks
How do you series 2 x 12V panels going from 12V to 24V, I can find no such thing as a Y branch connector's with a pos & neg going to pos, and a pos & neg going to neg.
I have a 50W panel & controller I would like to use to maintain two batteries (of the same size) in two separate ATVs (of the same make & model) stored in a sea container for the winter.
My question is if one battery is weaker than the other, will that cause the controller to continue to charge...
So happy to find a place to ask questions & get help & advice!
From Ont Canada & looking to live 6 month terms in the warmer environment in S/W states.
We love boondocking there & am looking to improve our ability for longer periods of time.
Just so I got this straight. Your suggesting a battery isolator between two 12V 100A/H Lipo battery's when wired in parallel to a inverter?
Would that still be required if I draw 12V power from "Bat In" side of the converter?
