I watched that one several years back and it really gave insight into and much respect for this young man. He has gone far. I learned most of what I know about solar watching his videos. I am grateful that he is generous enough to share his knowledge via videos as well as this forum.

My first build is 100% Renogy from panels to batteries and I've had no issues for the three years it's been operational.

I was considering wood but the prices were higher than junkyard metal and I hope it will last me a bit longer. I'm very comfortable working with wood. However I saw a LOT of wood structures destroyed after the hurricane. My panels may rip from the mount, but the mount will survive :-)

This is what I did. My setup is on casters so I can turn it around and work on the back wiring.

I think you will be successful and go far in life. You would not have learned the skills in a dorm room that you did building that. And the way the used car market is going, you may be able to double your money when you sell. And you have it if the world or grid goes crazy.
