I edited one of my previous posts to reflect this but the discontinuation is partially incorrect. We have another method of sourcing these from the factory as they are still producing them for some regions. For us, they are still one of the most polished units on the market.
Edit: I may not...
No issues, works fine.
They have a few protocols built-in but you need to be pretty savvy about knowing which is which from a DIY standpoint. Best to buy a BMS or battery bank fully tested with Deye.
They have pretty good pricing. Victron MAP is real. We offer discounts but we can't disclose the amount publicly (hence MAP issues).
TE is still under construction for now. We primarily do B2B procurement/distribution along with micro-grid/commercial engineering in the USA and Belize. We only...
@MisterSandals Thanks for the reference. @sandog feel free to ping me for anything you need. Sometimes it takes me a while to respond and messages get buried. If I don't respond just ping me again.
I’ve sold them to clients. DDP delivered anywhere in the USA. Good units. The BMS is not as advanced in some ways as Seplos but we have a good relationship with the UFO factory so I would still supply them if a client or customer were to inquire or want to purchase some.
Looking forward to seeing your thread on this! I would recommend making sure your BL/Commercial Invoice doesn't say batteries and shows as a complete solar package or customs will nail you. We've had it happen before where the shipper made a mistake and had batteries listed/named. Not pretty...
@Dzl thanks for the tag.
The Victron <-> BMS protocol is essentially under NDA (you won't have to find it on their website) but I do have it since I'm a Victron dealer and I work on BMS integration/protocols. Various BMS manufacturers integrate the protocol at varying levels. Some do it well...
I'll PM you. These are shipped directly from Asia but not from China. There are a few split-phase markets in Asia where distribution rights are still held for these. China however is not one of them.
Sadly no, Deye never released a sheet to my knowledge. It wasn't added as a catalog product either as SOL-ARK got the UL for the 12KW split-phase units, Deye didn't. Hence as a Deye product/branding they are non-UL.
