found the manual and answered my own question. manual says 6.4mm, so 5/16 should be a better fit.

The MPP has a "user" setting for battery, which it's set to. bulk set to 14.6 and I've just been scratching my head on the float setting for this. default was 13.5. I've seen what seems to be much conflicting information on what to set the float voltage, so I've been trying to educate myself...

For my preference, you would connect the 12v "battery" connection from the MPP to a 12v bus bar, which will is where you'll connect to a 12v fuse panel for loads and wire from the bus bar to the battery. I also like breakers between each. something like the attached photo. In my case, my...
