    Thoughts on Generator Auto-Start/Stop Voltage?

Sounds good. I'll be at the cabin this weekend and will get some pics of the shunt settings. I'm newbie to all this, so I can certainly use the help.

    Thoughts on Generator Auto-Start/Stop Voltage?

I have a Cerbo GX and a Victron Smart Shunt. For whatever reason, the percent-of-charge has never worked correctly, hence my desire to use voltage instead. When the batteries are down to about 24 volts or so (dead) the Cerbo is showing them at 55%. I probably have a setting jacked up, but I...

    Thoughts on Generator Auto-Start/Stop Voltage?

I have an off-grid cabin running a 24 volt split-phase Victron system and I'm getting ready to wire up my Honda EU7000IS generator to auto start/stop when the Lifepo4 batteries are about dead. I'm not sure at what voltage I should start the generator and what voltage to stop it. I don't want...

Cheap but viable ground mount solutions?

I would just sink four 4x4 treated posts in the ground and attach that frame to them. My setup has 8 posts, then treated 2x6's for the frame work. 32 panels are attached to the 2x6's. You can't see it in the pic, but there are also a pile of cross-bracing between all the posts and 2x6's. We...

Wiring a 120volt Generator to 240volt Split Phase Inverters

My system has actually been running for about a year and a half now, with no issues. The system was pretty much copied from the below Will Prowse video except scaled up with more panels, more Lifo4 batteries, bigger SCC, 24 volt, and just recently with a second inverter running split phase.

Wiring a 120volt Generator to 240volt Split Phase Inverters

Both inverter "AC OUT" neutral wires go to the same bus block in the breaker box panel. If that is not how it should be wired, please let me know. The inverters are programmed for 180 degree split phase with each hot wire going to each side of the panel. Tony

Wiring a 120volt Generator to 240volt Split Phase Inverters

That's exactly what I needed to know. Thanks, Jim! They are Victron 24 volt 70amp inverter/chargers. Tony

Wiring a 120volt Generator to 240volt Split Phase Inverters

I have a pair of Victron Multiplus Inverters running 240 volt split phase to my Cabin's panel. (Offgrid system) If I were to connect a 120 volt (single hot line) generator to the system, should I just hook the one generator hot line to one of the inverters, or split the wire into two, and run a...
