Little more progress. Cells balanced already and installed in series. Figured it will fit Pelican 1400 series.

Nice setup. I'm worry about your alternator, it will run almost full fielded all the time. What is your normal boat power consumption from the alternator? Alternators don't like to run at full capacity.

There is a reason why you choose PLA? I would recommend PETG.

It says it's current limiting but I would test it before permanently mounting it , usually, current limiting power converters are premium product features. Hard to believe, but it's probably worth trying. Just need to make some housing for this.

A couple of panels installed a month ago. Buddy pretty happy with the setup. 100w x 2pc Renogy , Renogy waterproof PWM charger in battery compartment, 10GA 25ft extension cable with 2 "Y" connectors, and a couple of watertight fuse packs. Will see how long it will last.

If you had solar panels hooked up to PWM controller without a battery, the charge controller may failed.
