Currently my camper is plugged into an outlet powered by my 16kw 48v solar system, thus everything 12v in the camper is being powered by the on board converter.
My thoughts are that rather than the power coming from the DC bus, inverting to 120v, then being converted back to DC, I could...
16kw.pv to 45kwh... 2.8:1.
Last winter I was at 4.6kw pv and 30kwh, so closer to 7:1 and I had to run the generator a little every day to keep things going.
My thought was that more than tripling the pv and adding 50% to the battery bank would allow me to get through the winter without needing...
Personally, I installed split phase so that I could run a (heat pump) electric clothes dryer. There are also some 240v water heaters that I've looked at and it's nice to have the option if I decide to use one.
Like zany said. Here's a thread more details https://diysolarforum.com/threads/240v-split-phase-with-4x-victron-multiplus-and-or-autotransformer.69797/
Here is my ccgx showing how both legs of the MPs are balanced out by the AT, in this case with a difference of ~3000w.
I recently replaced the two Daly BMS on my 48v lifepo4 battery banks with units from JK. They've been running fine for the last few days but this morning I noticed that only one of the two is showing up under the device list in the JK app. The led on the BMS is on and it seems to be working...
AHA!!!
Well it took some digging through TE's website but I found their version of the MC4 which is called Solarlok, and a little more digging to find their official pin extraction tool:
https://www.amazon.com/TE-CONNECTIVITY-AMP-1102855-3-EXTRACTION/dp/B00DRDNC8E
So I ordered that too and...
Well... I just put a little more effort into it, and based on this:
A circular pin removal tool somewhere between 5.5 and 6.5mm should do it...

I just ordered it so I'll...
I looked into this a while ago, having come from electrical engineering in the automotive industry I expected to find some sort of official "depinning" tool like what we use on circular bulkhead connectors.
There's no such thing.
I was pretty shocked and would love to be proven wrong but...
I have the 100a AT doing load balancing for two MP 3000s in split phase configuration. The AT is much quieter than the MPs (which are fairly noisy), but I don't know if when using it to step down 230v to 120v it would behave differently than my application.
