Intriguing.
So, Instead of plugging the 240v AC into the GEN port on the Sol-Ark, I would plug it into this chargeverter and that plugs into the 48v DC parallel bars?
Is there some auto start/stop feature since I probably won't be able to to use the Sol-Ark feature?
I've got a beefy Westinghouse portable generator that is more than enough to handle our load and charge at the same time. However, one small issue: when the generator runs some of our non-dimmable LED lights flicker like crazy and our UPSes glitch out. My research brought me to the fluctuating...
For the past couple of days we've been suffering from the inverter (Sol-Ark 12K) dropping our power and I finally realized we're getting too high voltage supplied by the grid and the voltage protection kept kicking in (Max 265V). We're on split-phase 240V here in Texas so our measurements of...
@BenFromSignatureSolar what's the part# on your website for that cable? Tech support never sent one out so figured I would just buy it (I need it ASAP).
I'm having trouble with my update on both my EG4LL, getting the following error:
> Initialization failed, please check BMS connection
> Clear Flash failed, Please Update again
I have a CH340 based USB to Serial adapter plugged into the RS485 port (I think it came with the unit, but looks just...
Hmm OK, I see now. When I received my order, the CCA, transmitter and 12 optimizers were packed loose with no factory packaging. I probably could have ordered the 12v PSU as well, but didn't know it was needed.
Wait, what? what do you mean the unit came "inside" the CCA? Do you mean you had to open up the CCA casing and take it out? Or do you mean the unit was in the same shipping box as the CCA?
This is what I ended up doing and am glad because this introduced me to the din ecosystem! I spent a weekend installing DIN rails in my homelab and remounting all my raspberry pi's and other MCU's to them. Also they're the perfect substrate for mounting things with tie-wraps that don't have...
@onokai re-read the specs. That line "100vac - 240vac" is for the not included power supply. Tigo REALLY needs to omit that line because it caused me confusion too.
I had the same concerns, which is why I went with the 100amp model AT. Way overkill, but it was only like $100 more. I figured if this saved me from having to buy another $7K inverter we're doing good.
I haven't looked at the 15k specs and don't wanna know to avoid buyer's remorse :p
