BLUEPOWER IP6048 - The New SunGoldPower 48V Hybrid Competitor to the MPPSolar LVX6048WP

Because im not the original purchaser.
Well out of the blue this morning, Alisa from the sales department reaches out and asked for a shipping address to send me a replacement inverter. Not sure if they read my complaint on here or not, but I doubt it lol.

I was extremely courteous and understanding when they told me they wouldn't help at first, because I always believe in not burning bridges. I guess it helped out this time.

Got the replacement today!

LVX6048wp is same unit and doesn't seem to have these problems
IT has all those problems and more. I exchanged one for a 48v server rack battery, Sold one and the other one Clunked out (capacitors burning) and I gave it away. All of them had error code after error code problems. I know a couple of other people who had nothing but problems with their LVX6048WP units.

Number of folks on this forum including me that have one....
BTW it was "Alisa" not "Cindy"!!!!!!
Not sure why you said this. I dealt with Cindy for support the entire time. Until the very last email, Alisa stepped in to offer a replacement inverter.

Negative, it is their 10kw SplitPhase, off grid model.

Yes! Pretty cool they offered this.
I'm coming up on 3MWh solar through my SRNE (SGP 10kW mentioned is a relabeled SRNE ASF) and well over 3MWh AC out with 1 random fault related to communications.
It just works.

The 100w idle consumption is my only complaint but for $1400 I shouldn't be complaining.

I did not intend any disrespect.
There are a number of threads where folks complained about SunGoldPower support and mentioned "Cindy".
My response(s) was that I received great support from SGP, especially on very technical software questions with respect to modbus protocols and "Alisa" was always the one to respond to my emails.

All in light humor and jest....

Sorry I have been traveling alot for work and missed alot of the updates and this discussion. I have my IP6048 connected and producing power. I have not had a chance to install my 2400 Watts of solar panels. I did finally get the PC software to work. Its a little late for that. I have been experimenting with Solar Assistant. I have a micro usb cable connected to what looks like the WiFi module. It seems to be communicating and I have access to some configuration parameters. For now I have been Charging when I see access solar from my solaredge Grid Tie. A manual process at the moment but it does work. I have got my daily energy consumption to around 25kWh which for my 3400 Sq ft house and 7 people that live in it is pretty good. Not exactly where I want to be but getting closer. I did try Venus OS and a github repository and it was promising but Venus OS didn't like it and it didn't work and support was absent but with Solar Assistant I am fairly pleased. I have added a Victron 500A smart shunt as I have no BMS with NiFe batteries. This gives me eyes on the Battery. I added an active balancer to my batteries. They seem to be doing much better. I had 4 that were drifting pretty far from the others but this seems to have corrected that. I need to calibrate the SOC. I am in a trial of Solar Assistant but I plan to move forward with the purchase of it. Unfortunately my Solaredge is not supported by Solar Assistant but is by Venus OS. I have 2 Raspberry Pi so I have both Venus OS an Solar Assistant up at the moment. I am going to try to get the MQTT Broker on Solar Assistant to share info with the Venus OS. I might also try to pull all three into Home Assistant in a meaningful way. Right now I have three separate dashboards. The Smart Shunt can be connected to the Venus OS or Solar Assistant. I have it on the Solar Assistant since that battery is connected to the IP6048 that is talking to Solar Assistant. SA dashboard.JPGSE Dashboard.JPGVenus OS Dashboard.JPG

25 kwhr is really good. Let's see how high it gets for the summer

Hello everyone! Happy Friday ! Quick question . I have the sungoldpower 10k hybrid inverter with panels coming to tomorrow. As per the data sheet , it says the max voc for pv input is 500 Voc. This unit has 2 mppt controllers. Does this mean 500 voc per controller or 500 voc combined? Sorry if this is a dumb question im still learning . Also the mpp max voltage range says 125-425 vdc. So is the max 425 or can I connect a max of 500v from my solar string ? Thank you everyone

Happy Friday and welcome to the forum.

500V absolute max per mppt. Working range is minimum 125V to "wake it up" - 425V, the top of the useable range.
Research cold weather compensation, VOC will go up as temps drop. Do not connect 500VOC series string.
As an FYI your inverter is an SRNE ASF, I have a feeling you'll be very happy with it.
