Europe and Asian 240V PV equipment VS Us's 120 V

I have a small DIY off-grid system. In addition, a friend who help me to built a solar structure to install my grid-tie Enphase PV system. All work well and he was impressed.
He has a home in Vietnam and is interested to do a diy off-grid system that I need to guide him how to DIY . Can someone enlighten me how would the electrical components used for a 120V system we used here differs from a 240V used there?

The only regional differences are voltage and frequency.
Otherwise they are basically the same.

Not too sure what you all have said. Over here we tap either L1 & L2 with a neutral to get 120V. The phase voltage between L1 & L2 is 240V that the inverter comes up with.
Does that mean the Asian and Europe equipment would generates the phase voltage of 480 v between L1 & L2?
Is the difference comes from the inverter alone?

In euroland, there is only L1 N and Ground.

But the voltage is 230V instead of 120V
