I am trying to connect 3 batteries to the inverter, and the red light is flashing on the BMS, and the inverter complains about "BMS abnormal" and "Battery Open". I am talking with Growatt tech support, but so far they have not generated many ideas (other than checking my CAT5 cables and general wiring).
The batteries are well charged - I see 160V where the batteries connect to BMS, and about 53V on each of the batteries. The SOC indicator scale on the BMS also shows full charge.
Any ideas of what may be wrong? As I said, there is clearly voltage where the batteries series connects to the BMS, however there is nothing on BMS output (connection to the inverter). Not sure if this points at some points with the BMS?...
Any ideas will be very welcome.
Thanks!
