Hello to all forum members
I have just installed 4.5 kw solar system in our house with a hybrid inverter batteries not attached nor net metering
I am facing a issue with my inverter
My inverter always takes 200 watts from grid even in the mid of day with bright sun
priority in the inverter is even set to SUB (solar + utility (grid) + battery)
Today my house power consumption was of 300 watts and my inverter was taking power of only 70 watts from the solar remaining from the grid I also confirmed it by checking current power consumption from grid meter
Every time we have to cut off grid power to efficiently use solar energy
Plz tell me how to solve this issue it is a pain in ass

Try SBU?

If it's a hybrid CAPABLE of backfeeding, AND it's supports "zero export," it may have a setting to maintain a minimum load from the grid to ensure no power is fed back to the grid.

Note that you've given absolutely no technical information about your equipment except hints that it's likely a voltronics-like AiO due to the "SUB" setting. If you're serious about getting help, you should give specifics INCLUDING links to the manuals for your equipment.

Today I have tried all the settings SBU SUB USB results were same in all the settings
My inverter is of Voltronic technology
Following is the manual link of my inverter https://homage.pk/bolt-series-hbs-5616scc-ups-solar-supported-inverter.html

*Left side image when we are sharing load with grid and solar and you are seeing solar input

*Right side image when we cut off grid and solar is giving 108watt input

When I took these images our house load was of 130 watt
So if our inverter can run house solely by solar energy then when I do sharing of load with grid and solar why inverter takes majority of power from grid instead of solar

Your inverter consumes power just by being on. Probably in the 80-100W range 24/7.

Unfortunately, an ad page gives us no meaningful information other than identifying it has the potential for grid feedback.

I do not see any manual at the link provided. I'm referring to the user manual that describes all the features and settings.

Brother can you tell me from where I can give you this information
I have a physical user manual which I got by purchasing the inverter tell me which information you have required for understanding my problem I would attach pic of that portion of user manual

Tell me which information you need I would attach pics of that
