Starting to put together the electrical for my van. The thin red and black lines are 6awg wire and the thick red and black lines are 4/0awg wire. The thin green wires are 12-3 SOOW and the thick green wires are 10-3 SOOW. The wires will be more cleanly installed, clamped to the board.
I am looking for opinions or warnings on the wiring, layout, and hardware. The Epoch battery has a built in cutoff switch, fuse, and shunt so I was going to avoid those before going into the Lynx Distributor. I am using the big 300amp bus bars to also connect an exterior lighting system and also an air compressor. These wires will probably be mounted behind the board as there is plenty of empty space behind it.
I am also curious what size fuses to use in the Lynx. I was thinking 300-400amp for the inverter and 3 100amp fuses for the busbar, charge controller, and DC to DC charger. Also curious on thoughts on my Solar Cutoff switch, which essentially a 40a breaker: https://amzn.to/4cixIt2 I know its cheap but I’m just looking for a small cutoff switch to mount here.
The whole system is a bit overkill but I want the option to run a microwave or airfryer in the future. Most of my appliances are 12v with minimal draw so I should have plenty of power. I could only fit 400w solar on my roof but I do drive a lot so the DC to DC should keep the battery topped up.
Solar Panels: 2 Kosta 200w in series, specs here: https://amzn.to/3VnY4TA
Victron 100/30 MPPT
Victron Orion XS 50a DC to DC
Victron MultiPlus-II 12/3000/120-50 120V
Epoch 460ah 12v Lithium, specs here: https://www.epochbatteries.com/prod...4-battery-ip67-heated-bluetooth-victron-comms
Thanks for any help or suggestions, I have been gathering all of these items for a while and hoping to put it all together this week.
