6000 xp
what size are those knock outs on the bottom of the xp? 2 sizes..

Knockouts from left to right:
Data: 1”
Battery: 2”
Load: 1 1/4”
Grid: 1 1/4”
Gen: 1 1/4”
Pv: 1 3/4”

They do seem to have different versions with different knockouts, so you probably want to double check the one you have to install.

Eric, the manual says to use an additional 600v dc breaker on the PV line..but that is not required per say and there is still a disconnect ...
maybe something to add a little later...?

I would recommend installing a dc breaker when installing the system. Although the 6000xp has a PV on/off switch, it is still necessary to install a DC breaker between the inverter and the PV modules.

there are some ridiculous prices for items fitting this description....?would this work?

Yes, they should work fine. However, it's important to remember that price often reflects the quality and longevity of the product.

another thing....most people will use a small load center panel with the XP. If you leave the ground/neutral bond default on the XP,should you
un bond the neutral that is in the little load center..?
