Now starting it? That's a while nother thing.
My 15A chop saw makes the garage light blink out for a moment every time I kick it on, and that is on grid power.

Yeah, just talked to an electrician friend, he said to get a veriable frequency drive for it..The 15a motor is just a Lil to much. My 12a dust collector starts up but it make the inverter beep until it gets up to speed. Then it's no prob.
 
2gauge (everything) batteries to bus bars ans bus bars to machine.
Slightly undersized at max load depending what insulation rating you use.
Still shouldn't be causing the issue.
I'm out of ideas, I know my 10" Kobalt ran fine when I was cutting down stock making bus bars. That makes me think there is something wrong with it.

Ok time for bigger cables. Lol still prob gonna get a var freq thing also.
