System Approved

My inspector only looked at my array, combiner box, DC disconnect at side of barn, and the similar disconnect at my panel inside. He checked UL on battery and inverter, and that was it. (My state does not have a requirement yet as far as I know regarding coupled "tested together" batteries and inverters). No questions about the charge controller, nor did he ask to look at my DC distribution panel (gfci, breakers for inverter and network switch) or AC-side wiring.

He had not heard of EG4. He was surprised that I had multiple vendors (EG4, Victron, Midnite).

The only thing he didn't like were my labels where I wrote with indelible marker the voltage and amps. I used a label maker and printed out the labels with the correct numbers, stuck them in overtop of where I had written the numbers, sent him pictures and he approved.

Note: I make no prediction that anyone's inspection will go as smoothly.

My system is off-grid
