I have a 6000XP on an RV with 4x12V timeusb lithium batteries series stacked. I have solar panels but they're not hooked up yet.

Is there anyway to tell that battery not to discharge? Basically what happens now is the unit cycles power to the battery while the grid is available. I want it to charge the battery and keep it fully charged so if I go boondock or lose the grid I am fully charged.

I have the app and everything and do not see one setting on this. Would I do it with SOC or voltage cut off settings? I have it set to a lead acid battery right now since it isn't a smart battery.

At present, the 6000XP lacks a specific setting for this function. However, an approach to currently achieve this would involve adjusting the On-Grid EOD voltage to your preferred battery discharge level when connected to the grid, as well as configuring the AC first function by time.

Thank you. I will try that. Is there a planned firmware upgrade to add that functionality?

Also I see the AC detect goes down to 90V input for faults. Does that mean it potentially could run on single phase input vs split phase?

The 6000XP requires an AC input of 240V connection with L1, L2, and N.

So if you have a generator input will it charge the battery fully when the other main input is not available based on the generator settings in the manual? Just wanted to make sure if I set it to charge to 100% on the generator it would do that and then discharge from the battery afterwards if the generator/ shore power is disconnected.

Yes, if you have a generator input, it will charge the battery to the set SOC/Voltage when the main input is not available. Once charge to the set SOC/Voltage, battery would then proceed to discharge.

Thank you for the information. One last question. Can the grid and generator have voltage at the same time? Basically I assume the unit would take power from the grid and only default to the generator feed if the grid goes down. Basically there is a built in transfer switch correct?
