Solarever 455w

Agreed and an important part of the "research" is speaking with the supplier/retailer who sells those products, are in the industry, and should be aware of the companies they purchase products from. If you, or your buyers, or coworkers dont know of any relevant news just say so. And if you do, you owe it to your customers to share such information.

Yes, especially if the status of the company affects the warranty.

Company goes bankrupt = no warranty.

Wow, that's an odd response from SS...

Wonder if that guy with the bad news is just trolling. Can post so much else but not even a quick summary.
NO I'm not trolling.
The information I have and the people I have talked in the past weren't giving me any kind of good forecast for the future and the absolute run around from some of the employees from Solarever itself was very disappointing.

A member posted in this thread that their is "not good news" regarding Solarever as a company. Can you please research and share with us information as it relates to Solarever and not good news. Many of us purchased Solaraver panels from Signature Solar. Thank you.

Including myself.

SS offers high-quality products and we encourage our customers to thoroughly research to ensure they select the best items for their project's needs ☀️

I have talked with Signature Solar and Solar Sovereign numerous times about these Solarever panels and I was always told, "we don't know what's going on."
I have been looking high and low for these panels for about 9 months from reputable sellers and from the info I was giving firsthand, there was a huge disconnect between the sellers and the factory. Solarever I'm referring to.

Would be nice if you summarized what this info was instead of constantly drama of saying you've been told something while not telling us what exactly we should be wary of. That's why people think you're trolling.

Now that these Solarever panels are available again...
I've had a few questions about them.
Between Solar Sovereign and Signature Solar I've seen conflicting information.
Solar Sovereign says they are 144 cell panels.
Signature Solar states on their website they are 72 cell panels but yet the downloadable spec sheet says 144 cells.
I called Signature Solar, they didn't get back to me today.

I talked with someone over Solar Sovereign today to see if they could clear up some of the confusion.
I asked the person at Solar Sovereign if he could run out to the warehouse to physically count the cells. Not that big a deal so I thought.
Nope, I was told I should just contact Solarever USA.

Contacted Solarever USA. They told me that the very same 455watt panel that is now appearing in stock across multiple websites, is a discontinued product and I the information I was looking for (cell count) is unavailable.

This is the kind of run a round BS I've been talking about since the get go. No one can give a concrete answer on anything.

As far some of the other information I was referring to I guess that's on me.
I had thought I had posted that information.
Shortly after starting this thread, I had a fire and was injured trying to fight the fire. Since then, time has gotten away from me, and I've lost track of what I had or not had posted.

Seriously? You told everyone there is "bad news that you have" regarding Solarever, and in every further reply you posted, you went around eluding what it actually is. You're like "oh sorry, I'll post it next time". Then you post many posts after, and not even post what you told people you were going to tell them.

You're literally doing the same thing to everyone here.

"I had thought I had posted that information."
You didn't, so post it, or don't say stupid stuff like that. I think this deserves a "proof or ban" type of thing.

The manual is correct. You can count the cells :)
I will get with the team to ensure we are giving the right information.

I did talk with someone today (this morning) and I was told you have in excess of 600 panels in stock and that they are indeed 144 half cell configuration.
I'm taking the word on this and making the plunge to buy a minimum of (1) pallet worth.

What made my head spin is the person throwing shade on Solarever later decided to buy a full pallet of them.

I still think he should be banned

Don't want to post up a bunch of drama, breaking it down plain and simple.
The information that I needed to back up my claims and that I had every intention to post up are not available anymore.
I use my work computer for everything including personal use.
Some months back we were hacked into and all our data was destroyed. There was an attempt to recover but the severity of the breach was way too severe to get anything back. Those circumstances are way beyond my control.

So yeah, I started something and didn't finish it.
However, with that, the persistent whining that I should be banned is uncalled for.
I have messaged Will P himself about this very issue taking full responsibility for not following through.
To date I have not heard anything from him that would suggest banning me or that I violated forum rules.

If your still not happy, bring it up with the owner of this forum.

Yes, I threw shade on Solarever.
My issue them is / was they have horrible customer service, to point of completely useless when it comes to finding out information about their own product.
With that being said I don't need their customer service for solar panels.
I've already learned firsthand their 455w panels are an excellent product. All I want is a solid quality solar panel in my system that will bring me years of carefree performance.
I ended up selling the ones I had before to a co-worker and I instantly regretted it as soon as I found out these were available again.

Because I was under the impression that the Solarever 455w panels were no longer available I purchased a number of Boviet Bi-Facial panels.
Panel vs panel performance the Solarever panel is a better panel by far.
That is why I am buying the Solarever panels again.

Yeah, I tried contacting them several times in the So Cal office prior to purchasing the panels. Bought the 18 455w panels anyway. Did have issues with two of them and was able to contact their support tech and spoke with him several times. I created a thread about that if you're interested. Also, the 455w have been removed from Solarever website. My guess is the 455 are discontinued.

That's my guess as well the 455 watt panels being discontinued. Their website has no mention of the regular 455watt panels anymore.
They have a 455 watt bi-facial now.
They're still touting the 550 watt panels but I can't find those anywhere. I'd REALLY like to get my hands on those.
