I have what may be the most basic system possible.

A small solar array (that will grow but needs help)
GIANDEL 24 Volt 2000W Inverter
Victron 24 Volt 100/50 Charge Controller
EG4 24 Volt LifePower Battery

Is it possible to add an additional device (connected to the grid) that works with the existing charge controller to allow me to add ac charging to my system. It seems impossible, but if it can be done, this community would know it.

Thanks

Sure, just wire it in parallel to the Victron Charge controller. They will plan play nice together.

Victron has several 24V battery chargers from AC, both 120 and 230V models, depending on your AC standard and needs, amperage, IP rating, etc. Here they are:

If you are sold on Victron integration and VRM / Cerbo, some of these will do that.

For your small system, Id look at the IP 67 or 22.

But you don't have to have a Victron.
