Hello. New to the forum. I’d appreciate some advice to double check calculations. I have #3 150w panels with the following parameters for each panel…

Pmax 150W
Vmp 18.0V
Imp 8.34A
Voc 21.6V
Isc 9.19A

I have a 12v 100Ah battery and I want to appropriately size a controller, wires etc…. I would like to use the 3 panels with 2 in Series and 1 Parallel. How do we calculate the voltage and current? The temps in our build area can drop to minus 40F in the winter for a few days and the battery I’m using is made by Sunrich energy and is self-heating. 12v 100Ah. It is being used to power 245wh pond aeration pump for 6-8 hours maximum per day year round.

Thank you kindly for your help!

Welcome to the Forum.

With 3 panels your possible combination are all 3 in Parallel or all 3 in Series. In Parallel the Voc would be 21.6 and current would be 3 X 8.34a= 25.02a
In Series the Voc is 64.8 and current is 8.34a

3 -150w panels at max would give you 450w/12vDC=37.5a charging.

Thanks Mattb4. I was seeing some chatter online about 2S1P so I thought you could wire them that way. I have a Victron 100/50 controller and I’m looking to use it here if possible

Your Victron controller should work just fine either method of panel setup. Regarding the shorthand of 2S2P (4 panels) it simply stands for a Series string of 2 panels being in parallel with another series string of 2 panels. Parallel connection of DC voltages must be reasonably close.
