I do see 200A pass through.

This must be what they are testing their 16kWh battery with for UL9540 testing/pairing.

Could you make them a bit lower resolution?

I can just make out some numbers presently, and just a little fuzzier would prevent that.

Mike C.
They were already fairly low res but it looks like the forum cut them in half again when uploaded. I took zoomed in screen shots of what I had and re-upload them.

I'm guessing it's gonna be marketed against the eg4 12kw, solark 15, and Midnite aio, so around $4500?
It really has specs close to the EG4 18k. But Ruixu is in a weird, maybe genius, market space by importing their own stuff to the US and offering lower prices. Look at their 16 kW Battery. It is outdoor rated, heated, all the bells and whistles but to your door for $3,400.

You could be right but I hope they bring this hybrid in under $3k to really spice things up. That would put them above the new GroWatt, SRNE and NHX but below everyone else. There is a huge gap in there that they could take for themselves.

I think that was the intro pricing? Ultimately the cells in these batteries are prob less than $1000 to buy in China, $200 for a BMS, case, display, heaters, shipping, plenty of profits there I think.

Given they are spending the resources on ul9540 paired testing with inverter and battery that gives them potential sales in stricter jurisdictions that the srne and nhx etc may not achieve?

There is still PLENTY of profit but I think that is their niche. I do not think any other company is producing, importing and selling direct in the USA like they are. I think that gives them leverage and opportunity to really make things interesting.

Are they much different from EG4 from a business pov? They still sell through distributors as well as direct.

This design with the external brackets to stack will prob compete against the Midnite 5kWh.

I jsut asked for it. I tried to get the full manual but they said it was 35MB and it was night time there. LOL I honestly do not know why night time mattered but I was not able to talk them into sending anything else or price.

EG4 has a pretty significant US presence and the accompanying overhead. As far as I can tell Ruixu only has a warehouse and distribution center in Ontario, CA.

They actually have a exoskeleton type rack system for those batteries. I dont think I have seen that anywhere else.

They have a Facebook Group for Q&A, Tech Support, Product Info and Discounts. There was a post asking about UL certification for their Battery and the Rep said "UL9540A will be finished soon. we will do the UL9540 with our own inverter then. our inverter will be released at the end of this month." But that was 13 weeks ago! I have been watching the group for info and they said a few days ago it was coming very soon so I figured Id try to get some info.

Ok that is very cool. Still allows you to slide out a problematic battery but you don't have to ship a massive cabinet.
