What is the dip switch position for communications in EG4 Lifepower4 48v batteries?

Hi, I'm struggling to get a macbook to talk to a battery. The EG4 connection guide for BMS tools V1.0 says if it's a 4 dip switch version to set the batteries dip switch to ID:16. The only dip switch guides I can find do show 16 dip switch positions but ID ranges from 0-15.

In the main window I've changed the baud rate to 9600, set the ID to 16, tried both COM options. Com state remains offline. It has to be that the dip switches are set incorrectly. Does any one know what the dip positions must be to put the battery into communications?

Not sure about that exact battery, but EG4 confuses "all switches off" which would normally be 0000, with "16" because they count up from 1.

So try looking for the battery at address "0".
