10 450 watt solarevers and an eg4 3000 - cutting it too close on voltage?

I just got an eg4 3000w 48v all in one inverter and 10 450 watt solarever panels. It has a limit of 500V on the solar in put. The VMP of the panels is 41.3 and the VOC is 49.05.

Is this cutting it too close to the voltage limit of 500V to put all 10 in series?

Yes, that’s too close. Your listed Voc is at 25C, and any colder than that the voltage will increase. You can probably go 5s2p, just check that 5 times the Vmp will still have some margin above the minimum voltage to start.

What is the all time minimum temp in your area? I'm guessing if you get close to 0f, it won't be good.

Thank you. The all time minimum temp here is 24 degrees F .

Try this. I think the 15k has the same 500Voc limit.
