Yes they are like air brakes that way. :)
Of course if you have a 60 watt incandescent light bulb you can bypass it. ;)

Well locally they are charging $20 to $280 for the brake and another $95 to deliver it to me.
Dang.
Ok well thanks for all of your help.
But it seems I am just Sheeet out of luck here.
Unless that guy from the youtube channel comes through. but he is no longer answering me after saying he was going to look into it.
Thanks again.

Hey I pinged Shoprider directly and they replied back saying this is the authorized dealer to get parts for them:

I had also pinged this place in Canada, and they responded with this:

"
Hi,
We can order in parts for you. What is the serial number of the scooter? Is it just the brake you need?
Thanks,
Peter

I pinged back Peter, and said you could send them the serial number so he can look it up and get you a price quote... On the other authorized dealer for ShopRider (Monster Scooter Parts), you may have to call to that number tomorrow 800-798-0325 to get a quote, because I didn't see the part on their online portal, they might have to look it up manually to get pricing/availability on it...

The Mobility store is in Nanaimo on the island.
And I suppose I could give Monster a shout.
Still the problem of no credit card LOL
Thanks for all of your help. :)

The brake number is:
B5#3LWR198A408P1(UL7-W-L3) 6605C54A0610 BRAKE(L)

Will probably need a new controller soon as well. But that is another story.
The number for that is:
CA-AC2-70(A4) 4AVAC54A0348 Upper CONTROLLER

Anyhow, So those are the numbers. :)

Ok well I contacted both of them.
I suppose we just have to wait now. But I have to do that anyhow LOLOL.:p:ROFLMAO::)

Ok a little update. The guy from the video above is in the UK and it would cost me $344 plus 20% tax and then shipping. So that is out.
On to the next one LOL.

Well it seems that I will have to simply buy another scooter as I can not afford the brake. Also I have a feeling that the controller is also about to go.
So for the cost of the brake plus delivery I can get a cheap used scooter.
And for the price of a brake, delivery and a new controller I can buy a semi-decent used scooter.
I now just have to wait for at least 6 months before getting enough money to but one. LOL
About the same amount of time I would have to wait to get the money for a new brake and controller as well.

Anyhow, to all who have read this article. Thank you for your time.
And to Samsonite.
Thank you especially for your time and efforts. :)

Thanks everyone for all of your help to me about my batteries.
At least I know how to store them SAFELY until I get another scooter somehow. :)

I just got myself a new used scooter. It was easier. :)
Thanks for everyone's help. :)
Especially Samsonite801. :)
