Growatt 3000TL LVM Fan Replacement?

One of the fans on my Growatt 3000TL LVM seems to have failed and I'm seeing an error code 001 which corresponds to fan failure. I'd like to replace it with either a stock Growatt fan of the same model or any other off the shelf fan that would be compatible with the inverter and not throw errors. I've looked through the documentation and don't see any specs listed for the fan, but if I remember right, it was a 4 pin connection.

Does anyone know where I might be able to source a Growatt fan or similar compatible fan? If you've experienced a fan failure on your Growatt I'd love to hear about your experience as well (it looks like a bit of a pain to replace).

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Is there a part number and brand listed on the old fan? Have you tried contacting Growatt Support yet? Sometimes, can also measure dimensions and voltage, amps, RPM specs on the fan and find a suitable replacement. Is it 2-wire, 3-wire, or 4-wire?

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but thought I'd provide an update for anyone else that has a fan failure.

I opened the case and confirmed it's an 80mm fan with a 4 pin connector. However, the tabs and size of the connector are non-standard. I tried using a typical 4 pin computer fan and it would not fit. Out of curiosity, I cut the the tabs off my fan using a razor blade and it was still an extremely tight fit (the socket itself seems to be smaller in addition to having a different tab arrangement). I attempted to force the new fan into the socket and it would not power on with the inverter, so it either didn't make full contact or the wiring is in a different configuration.

Long story short, I reached out to Growatt support and they were unresponsive. I then emailed watts247 and they sell replacement fans for the Growatt 3000 for about $30 shipped. On my two inverters, I've had 3 of the 4 total fans fail, so I ordered extras.

On another note, my original Growatt 3000's with the failed fans (purchased July 2020) were quite loud even when they worked. I recently purchased a new Growatt 3000 (February 2022) and the fans seem to have been updated with a much quieter pair while pushing a similar amount of air. Perhaps they took note of frequent fan failures and made improvements. Hopefully these new fans are more reliable than what I've experienced with the old ones.

I can see there are going to be supply issues with this type inverter. $30.00 for an 80mm fan? Wow! The fans on the Growatt 3k 48v I own are wobbly, out of center, out of balance, not sure what it is and I just got it! So yeah I can see me dealing with this issue soon. Does anyone have a schematic, of a pin out on these fans? I got boxes of computer fans in storage, even though I'm retired I still mess around with repairs and such. It be great to see what the pin out is on these fans since they appear to be cheaply made and will need to be replaced sooner than later. Can anyone post a picture?
