I saw a few loads of these up for auction on a gov surplus site a few months back, definitely piqued my interest. I figured they would be showing up on E-bay or elsewhere shortly.

Cost per Watt is extremely high, and Watts per square foot is quite low, but then I suppose these were never the selling points of a system like this. Robustness, durability, portability are probably what would attract someone to something like this (and modularity of the full system but it doesn't look like you are selling the full complete system, only the solar modules).

I'm curious how the military has been using these systems or intending to use these systems.

Have you tested the output on these panels?

Yes, panels are basically unused but they were set up at least once by me for testing. All tested within manuf specs.

These are not $1 per watt Amazon panels. Ha Ha. Not unless you can shoot an amazon panel with a 12ga shotgun and still have it function at 80% power output.

Go to SBMsolar and read about their testing process.

Panel connectors are MC4

I wonder if they are backed with kevlar or fiberglass? I see a woven cloth material in the pictures. Both would probably be able to take a shotgun no problem.

I think there made with Transparent Aluminum... I mean how do we know he didn't invent the stuff?
