While looking over the specs for the Epever MPPT controllers I found this disclaimer. I don't see any disclaimer with the controllers 10amp-40amp. Why beginning with the 50amp controller does this disclaimer appear? "NOT FOR LITHIUM"?

The Epever controllers have four built in battery profiles; Sealed, Gel, Flooded and User. That USER profile can be customized.

Here's what Battleborn says about charging their Lifepo4 batteries with EPever.

Yes, we have many customers using the EPever, Here are some settings for you:

You will want the “User” Settings

Over voltage disconnect voltage
14.7V
charging limit voltage
14.6V
over voltage reconnect voltage
14.6V
Equalize charging voltage
Off or 14.4V
Boost charging voltage
14.6V
Float charging voltage
13.6V
Boost reconnect charging voltage
13.2V
low voltage reconnect voltage
12.0V
Under volt. warning volt
11.5v or Off

Hope this helps, thanks!

I would give them a call because their own product literature conflicts in this regard. Their Product Presentation document says "No to Lithium!":

It sounds like they're saying yes to two specific lithium chemistries (NMC and LFP) and no to the 18650 (LCO) battery packs although I'm not sure why. It would be interesting to know what EPever says about it.

I brought a tracer 10415 from amazon in may 2019 and that doesnt support lithium. The ones that manufacture early this year does. I contacted the manufacture and thats what they told me.

"Tracer10145AN manufactured in the second half year of 2019 supports Lithium battery, products manufactured earlier do not support lithium battery. The quickest way to check whether the product received supports lithium battery or not is to check the label sticker that sticks on the product.

Texts "12V/24V/36V/48V" on the label means it does not support lithium battery.

Texts "12V/24V/36V/48V/Li" on the label means it supports lithium battery."
