Would like to know if this wiring is correct. TY

Portable system for one room in a house and also for use in a camper.

House use is a 50w panel
Camper has 145w on roof or if in shade a 100w suitcase panel to be used separately not both together.

While correct, you may be far better off not using the load terminals on the SCC. Wire your 12VDC loads directly to the battery.

There are various reasons for that, the more common is that the load terminals often don't support the amperage you hope and can damage the unit especially if you have an inverter with surge current.

You'd also want to add a fuse to the 12VDC load.

Thanks for your reply, I see what you're saying.

This inverter comes with a cig adapter plug for a 12v socket. I think it's the largest inverter Samlex sells with this plug which could be cut off to hard wire. My only use for this inverter is to charge a small Mac laptop with a 45w charger. I can't think of any other use I'd have for it. If I could charge the laptop some way with 12v I wouldn't have it. The second 12v socket is for a 10"-12v tv or a 12v fan. The usb ports uses would be for charging cell phones, small light, small fan. The device with the 2 12v sockets has it's own 20a fuse. Pretty minimal stuff. But maybe it should be hard wired.
