Has any anyone heard anything about this one? It looks like it would fit my needs, but there is only like one comment on Amazon. Not too assuring! Thanks! I

Was looking at this charger and similar clones from other Chinese brands, but decided to go with the Victron IP22 (30A) - well-known brand and better engineered, 5-year warranty, Bluetooth etc.

Note that the IP22 doesn't come with the battery cables, as it would depend on how you plan to install it.

If you're not making your own cables, I ordered some from BatteryCablesUSA.com which was recommended by other forum users.

Since I planned to use the IP22 across several batteries, I purchased 6 ga AWG cables with SB50 Anderson connectors (to IP22) + SB50 to M8 cables (to each battery).

Nice, I looked up the charger after your comment and really like, it and was pleased with the price. I just ordered a hammer crimper from the DIY website and have some extra 4 AWG coming in from Windy Nation that I will be able to use. I really appreciate the tip! Thanks.

Just curious, I have one 190 amp 12v Lithium battery and want to get a second. I will run them in parallel. Can I run the charger across both batteries? As in the charger on the first batter positive and the second battery negative?

Here is what I am building. It's kind of a hybrid. I have a Bluetti generator and trying to use solar to charge some additional batteries etc. I bought a Progressive Dynamics 60-amp charger converter, but it takes about 1600 watts to run. :( Just looking for something more efficient and learning basic electricity and solar in the process!!! :) (I only have one battery now, and haven't purchased the 40-amp battery charger, most everything else is in place.

Not sure about running one set of cables across both batteries in parallel, but the IP22 actually comes in two flavors (besides the different models for 12V/24V DC out, or 120/240V AC in): one with 1 output, and one with 3 outputs. The one with 3 outputs will allow you to wire and charge the batteries separately:

No, what you are describing sounds like putting the batteries in series, increasing their voltage to 24v. The charger would not like this.

Parallel would be battery positive to battery positive to charger positive, battery negative to battery negative to charger negative.

Or you could use a busbar, one bar for all positive connections, one bar for all negative connections.

Once the batteries / charger are all connected in parallel, the charger can charge them both at the same time.
