JK-B2A24S20P BMS Verify Password to enable settings change

Is there any news about your problem? Yesterday i changed the PW in the App, but now it is not recognized anymore

I too have same issue after changing password, I'm desperately trying to contact hankzor & jkbms as my battery project is halted until I am able to login to this thing.

Any ideas on best ways to contact them?

EDIT: I do not know what I did exactly, but after trying many many different versions on my phone, now the version 4.8.5 works. For now I am glad it works, but I have no confidence in this BMS anymore.

I just tried "rebooting" the bms to resolve the issue but it made it worse. I have the little LCD for the bms and it showed a charge of around 90% before the reboot (e.g. disconnecting and reconnecting all bms wires) now it says 74%. That suggest that it has now completely reset the charging and discharging parameters as the SOC on the display depends on how high you set the top voltage of each cell.
But: I still can't login. If the factory (or user set) PW are that baked into the chip, then why would it not accept it now?!

I just emailed the seller on Aliexpress (Hankzor) and described my problem. They quickly replied and said I need to send them a message and describe my issue. So much about their help. They can't even read a simply put support inquiry before hammering out an automated standard response email.
I'll wait for a proper answer a bit but in general, I will be on the look out for a proper BMS with support and engineers that continuously test their soft- and hardware for good. I mean, who guaranties that something like this won't happen again even if this gets resolved for now. If this would have happened to me in a complete off-grid situation I would now be without electricity since I can't reach the "discharge" toggle switch in the app.

Is there a good tip for a seller that I can ask for for the reset code?
I have same problem,it was working fine but then i changed the password from 123456 to 000000, then neither worked, contacted the Hankzor store and they gave me a temporary password (15 minutes) I opened the bms and turned on the charge/discharge buttons, I then tried to change password back to the original (123456)would not work, tried many times would not change the password, only the temporary password worked, which of course ran out

I contacted them on the Aliexpress messenger, got a temporary password (15 minutes)

Hi yes I was able to contact them as well on the aliexpress app. I got a temp bluetooth pin and they mentioned there are some bugs in the recent versions of the app. They suggested to download version 4.8.4

Link to that version (android): https://github.com/NEEY-electronic/JK/blob/JK-BMS/jkbms-4.8.4.132(1)(1).apk

I can say that with this version I am able to change both the Bluetooth and settings passwords and they are saved and work fine :)

I even noticed that the newest version of app that I was previously using (with the login issue) it wouldn't allow me to save "4" as number of cells.

Thanks for the information, where did you download the app?

Done it, now sorted, thanks for your input ??

This issue is really confusing. I am just starting using the JK "B2A24SPC15" type BMS. In the manual which was delivered with my order there is a link to download the "BMS" App and to use the PW "1234".
But with this "BMS" App i could not connect to the BMS. The PW did not work as well.

If you visit https://www.jkbms.com/support/ and search for the Android App (clicking on the Android-Icon) you will be linked to another server where you can download an .apk-file with the "ENJPOWER" App. You won´t find this App on the Google Play Store.

With this App i was able to connect with my JK BMS. Within the Setting menue i had to use the PW "123456". This worked.

I built my second battery yesterday, only problem now is I can't access the BMS for Battery A.

I setup the new JK BMS, changed the pairing password and the settings password, went back to the other BMS and it asked me to pair it, every time I try, no matter what pin number I use it says it failed to pair, even checked my notes which said the pairing password was 1234 but that doesn't work either (tried every number I would use). Downloaded JK BMS App version 4.8.4.132 and still can't access the first BMS. Even tried the ENJPOWER app mentioned above.

I guess I'll have to try and get a temporary pin - how does this work?

@LydMekk Thanks but tried that.

Yesterday I realised in my troubleshooting on Sunday I had installed an older app version, so I installed the latest version (which I had installed when the trouble started), the one that is on Play Store.

Got home from work and actually logged straight into the troublesome BMS, tried to change the pairing password, every old password I tried failed, so still no idea what the pairing password is, looks like I'll have to get a temporary one.

Changing the password is a known problem (it doesn't work). Go through your supplier to have JK reset your BMS.
I am intending on doing that, as soon as I can login to my AliExpress account.

They may have fixed the problem in the new BMS's as I have changed the pairing password in that several times, just seems to be the older one thats an issue. I've changed the settings password in both without issues there.

How do they reset the BMS though? It's not connected to wi-fi, unless it done when the app tries to connect via Bluetooth.

I'm really struggling to get a temporary code out of JK BMS on Aliexpress, just don't seem to get a reply.

If anybody has a code could you perhaps PM what it was so I can try it please, just in case they are one time use on each BMS?

I'm also wondering how the temp code works. But early on with people having issues with the pass codes I never fooled with mine. It is not worth it. I do not see that many people hacking into your BMS to do something. If you monitor it look over settings every now and again maybe just maybe if someone did do something you would catch it.

They keep replying to my messages at 3:30 in the morning asking if I'm there (I'm in bed, fast asleep - I've said I'm in the UK), but hopefully we've arranged a time for before I go to work tomorrow.

Terrible system considering they don't work all day, and they cover the whole world.

Unless the App contacts China I can't see how it can be time restricted.

This morning I finally managed to get a code, they said it only works for 15 minutes but not sure why. The BMS is not internet connected, the phone App didn't access the internet either, it can't be time related as it would get rather complicated, you could be anywhere in the world, your phone may have the wrong time etc.

However it works it solved the problem, and I set the pairing code back to default.

Its a terrible system, why they didn't put a reset button on the BMS I don't know, to have a supposed time restricted code, that you have to get from somewhere that is not open 24/7, and when they are don't respond quickly, in a different time zone is just plain stupid. I arranged numerous times to do it between 06:15 and 07:15 but it didn't happen. Got lucky today, they tried putting me off until Monday, but I told them how disappointed I was, and how ridiculous the situation was.

Can you please share the code? I have the same problem. thank you.

I also was thinking on how it can be time related. The only thing i can think about is that your BMS serial number is bounded to the phone application. And that code is generated for your application (if it's on the phone, it should have access to internet). So maybe it kind of your applications ID + Serial number of BMS together can work. ? Any ways, your code did not worked. Thank you for the try!
