Hello all!

I am looking for suggestions as I consider a "DC-only" Power Station for a small 12v DC fridge with 60W maximum power draw. I'm looking for inexpensive solutions and would consider DIY, if it helps get the cost down.

Dometic makes the PLB40 512 Wh Li-Ion battery with a 12V socket output, which is regulated in order to operate with most 12V fridges. While the PLB40 is basically what I want, it is quite expensive and is not LiFePo4.

Renogy makes the inexpensive GP10 266 Wh battery bank with a 12V socket output, but I don't think the output is regulated. If the output was regulated this would be just about perfect.

Are there any other DC-only power stations that might work? If I try DIY around a LiFePo4 battery what would everyone recommend? Several manufacturer make a "battery box", e.g. model Maxi Trac MTBA890, that I could put a LiFePo4 battery in, but how to regulate the output.

Any thoughts or suggestions for products or recommended components for a DIY/Milk Crate Build?

There are many entry level power station that support small 12v DC fridge with 60W maximum power port for your draw, instead of expensive brands like Jackery,Ecoflow,Bluetti,Goal Zero Yeti, you have many more affordable brands to choose from, SUAOKI, Enkeeo , Webetop, Paxcess, ROCKPALS,Togopower,Yargopower, etc. and the cost of these entry level power station are less than $200, you could find many of it on Google, hope that helps.

Do you need regulated 12V? I would think that the refrigerator would handle a range of voltage such as found in an RV.

Regulated is only really needed with 3S LiNMC.
LFP operates in the normal 11 to 14V range most appliances require...
Just get an appropriate sized LFP battery, and attach the socket your frige needs...
Done.
