Epever ebox - wifi - 01

Hi, im after buying one of these wifi boxes, (needs to be this specific one) but they are old now, and i cant find many for sale. The only ones i can find do not have the epever logo on the front, so im thinking, will they be identical?


Does anyone on here have one of these non logo versions? If so, does it work as it should? Hows the wifi range in sta mode?

I will be using it for home assistant on a upower hi series inverter (which its not ment for), so, the hardware etc needs to be the same etc or i may get more problems getting it working than there already will be!

Btw, if anyone has done this with a upower hi inverter, please let me know how you gotten on! Thank you?

Hi All just joined the group and I am having problems setting up the app
I have a tracer 4210an with the mt50 works perfectly

Now I want to use the app had to get a ebox-wifi-01, i have a blue one, followered the instructions.
connects to the network ok both leds on
Also connected and I can see all the battery details from the units setttings
but no other app works, my internet conect does not work woth other items

anybody got any ideas

I dont suppose you know how to start the boost charge on one of these upower controllers do you ? Steve

What do you mean by upower controller? Boost charging should start automatically presumably when theres enough power to charge the battery

I’m trying to re boost some rolls batteries that I haven’t used for 18 months , they say charged but specific gravity is low , so was going to try but a load on them and cycle recharging them to build amps back up and break up the sulpha ,

The box is great. The app doesn't work. Try an online search for "ebox-WIFI-01 doesn't work" or similar and you'll see people have been complaining about this for years. I had mine working beautifully through a MacOS Android emulator - but Ventura has made that obsolete. In the meantime I found they had produced an iOS app (two stars on the App Store, which I'd say is generous). Wonderful! Except ... it *seems* to work, but all you ever get is "WiFi not connected". I've tried people's suggestions of turning off mobile data, and/or using Airplane mode, rebooted obviously, not starting the app until you're joined the box's own WiFi station ... nothing works. Tellingly, the manufacturer is silent on the issue.
