Hello,

Please i would like to ask if anyone knows how to connect the BMS/Communication Cable From Felicity battery LPBF48300 to Felicity Inverter 5K IVEM5048 in order to Read the Battery SOC by percentage on Smart ESS app.

hi,

felicity communicate with the felicity battery using the same cable provided by the battery for parallel communication, just plug it in,

the disadvantage is that the battery setting will be communicated to the inverter and the Shutdown voltage will not work anymore, the inverter set SOC will decide the level the battery discharge before cutting off.

you have to unplug the battery BMS connection and set it to user defined to have the inverter setting have priority.

You need the firmware and tools
Then you can update the inverter
But its not important
Not recommend if no parallel inverter
With different firmware version .
Felicity products work very well

also i need the last firmware for battery

I actually intend to add another felicity inverter in parallel so in total I will have 2 running in parallel to increase output current but 1 of them have 8 panels and the other without panels (due to lack to space), would that work or am i going to fry the inverter/batteries?

on the side is there a way to reset felicity inverter to factory settings?

It work perfectly
No problem
I have in project this case.
The only problem is if the inverter chut down ,if battery empty
You need to manually start the inverter that don't have pv panel
Or you should activate ac 220 in input

Hello folowing this post since I have the same com issues. dessmonitor is not working. You can not sign up an account. I have SmartESS installed but cant see the inverter. Any other workable apps?
