Proposed Solar System
MPP - pip-lv2424-msd-2400w-24v-80a-mppt-60a 24v
LifePO4 Powerwall 3.5KW
Renogy 2Pcs 270 Watt 24 Volt Solar Panel 1080W - In series

I live in Northern AZ
Being new to solar is there something: I am missing
Need to be concerned with this system
Mistake a virgin to solar should consider

Need the system for wife's medical equipment. If I one system working will build a second and run in parralell to make sure she is safe.

Did you mean 4Pcs of 270W panels? Two are only 540watts?

Although I started my own system with Renogy panels, I've found them to be overpriced. Arizona in particular has lots of local providers on Ebay and Craigslist that you can buy panels cheaper. The key to getting good deals on panels is to do local pickup. Even if you have to drive 100 miles to pick up a load, you're likely to save money with local pickup.

BTW, the open circuit voltage of those panels is ~38V. At freezing it will be more. Wiring them in a 4S1P configuration, you'll exceed 154Voc. Check the specs on the controller to see if it will handle a Voc that high. A 2S2P configuration would be safer.

cross post?

cross post?
When I first posted (again new to even being on a service like this) it went into controllers section. Let me know when I thought I was in general discussion. I could not find a feature for deleting or moving the post. Do you know how. I am sorry for my ignorance in this area. Just willing to learn.

Thank for the local market technical knowledge. I will start hawking the local panels market. Thank you for your insight and knowledge. My understanding is the powerwall needs lower Voc. I was soft on my understanding of the panel wiring configuration. Thank you for recommending the 2S2P configuration. That provides be confidence to go that direction.
