Anybody have any issues getting their access panels off the sides of their batteries? Mine WILL NOT come off. The four very small screws in each side are very tight and I think possibly the heads are stripped as I cant get any thing to bite on it. Signature solare said they are very small phillips heads, but I any small enough to fit into the recess, will not loosen the screws

All 4 screws both sides. Any Ideas?

I had the same issue. Had to drill the head off 2 of the screws to get the cover off. I called EG4 and they said they were sending Chinese screw drivers with the new battery. Because so many people are have issues.

I broke three small screwdriver trying to get them out. Finally used a die grinder on a screwdriver to make sure it was bottomed out. And since the screws were just in L-brackets, I was able to buy new screws and replace the ones I drilled out.

These work perfect.

Are you guys hitting these up with a number three cross head? Sounds like they are not number two that most of us are used to and are probably number ones.

The tech at EG4, said #2 was as close as you can get to the Phillips head. But he said it doesn’t really fit.

A very strange little screw.

Small flat head fits. But these things are really tight. And a narrow opening so larger shafts can fit. And deep so shorter shafts don't fit. Sorta the Goldilocks of screws....
