As a DIY installer, it would be convenient if we can get setup with an "installer" EG4 monitoring account rather than an "end-user" account, so we can access more of the inverter settings through the portal. I contacted EG4 about the possibility of converting my account to an installer account, and the response I got was:
Unfortunately, we are not in charge of sending out installer accounts . That would be delegated with the distributer. I would reach out to their customer service team and they should be able to give you the correct route to take with installer accounts.
I contacted Current Connected about it and they told me they can't do it either, that it would be EG4. @HighTechLab - would you know how this can be handled?

I have reached out to EG4 to get this resolved. I have spoken to everyone hear in the tech support office, and figured out where this information came from. This was a misunderstanding by a couple of our newer techs. I have the instructions on how to set this up in bound. I have also taken the time to let all the techs know this is possible. We should have the documentation by early next week. If you email me directly I will take care of this and get you all set up. My email is Jason@currentconnected.com.

Once I have the documentation all techs will be brought up to speed on this process. I apologize for the misinformation, but we have taken the steps to resolve this.

Jason,
Current Connected

I received the information on how to set up this account. I will be in the office for roughly another hour. If you can reach out within that time frame, I can get you squared away today.

Jason,
Current Connected
Thanks Jason - replied to your PM and sent an email as well. I appreciate the help!
